McKenzie Portelance, Director of Business Development for Liberty Party Rentals has joined the board as Co-Chair of Programs and Locations.
McKenzie graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.A. in Organizational Communication and began her professional career in 1999 with Hard Rock International as project manager of the corporate website,www.hardrock.com. With a special interest in corporate event planning she elected to begin a new career with PGI, Inc. She started as a Sales Coordinator in PGI’s Orlando office in 2001 and was quickly moved to PGI Palm Beach and promoted to Operations Manager in early 2002. In September 2004 she began traveling full time operating programs throughout the US and Canada and had moved to South Carolina where she continued working from home as a National Operations Manager. She had been with PGI for 5 years, and was invited to become a part of the TBA team when PGI was acquired. In April 2006 McKenzie received a promotion to the position of National Director of Operations and held that position until March of 2008.
With a new found love for the Nashville area McKenzie decided to put down some roots and make a career change that would allow her to spend more time at home with her husband Steven. She began her career with Liberty Party Rental in March of 2008 as the Director of Business Development. Since that time McKenzie has taken on several different roles including Director of Sales and oversight of the warehouse operations staff.
