Bruce & Julie Hurst: Owners

When we say rentals are in Bruce and Julie’s blood, we’re not kidding! Liberty Party Rental owners Bruce and Julie Hurst have over 40 years of combined experience in Nashville hospitality.

It all started in the late 1980s when Bruce Hurst began his journey at Liberty. He worked in all aspects of the company from delivering orders to introducing large-scale production items like tenting and staging. Through gaining a wealth of knowledge in the industry, Bruce acquired Liberty Party Rental from The Jay Family in 2002. And now with over 25 years of experience, he is the strategic brains behind the operation and continually introduces innovative ideas for the future of the company. His passion for implementing the latest technology advances keeps Liberty on the cutting edge. Bruce has also enjoyed building a strong team during his time of ownership to make it one of the top performing rental operators in Middle Tennessee.

If you’re gazing into the clouds, you may spot Bruce flying a plane, as he’s recently obtained his pilot’s license. You may also find him biking, boating and spending time with his daughters and wife, Julie.

It was a match made in heaven when Julie Hurst said "I do" to Bruce in 2007. Shortly thereafter, Julie joined the Liberty Team after extensive experience in Nashville hospitality. After graduating from Belmont University with a B.B.A. in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism, Julie had success working at Gaylord Opryland Resort and also as Director of Operations for Destination Nashville. Julie continues to encompass many leadership roles here at Liberty from client partnerships to business management. She’s spent over 16 years in the hospitality industry! Throughout these years, Julie has been a long-time member of MPI. She was even awarded the Beth Calveard Volunteer Spirit Award from TN: MPI in 2014/2015, and contributed to Liberty winning the TN: MPI Pillar Award for the Middle TN Region in 2008/2009.

Giving back to the community through the local Hendersonville Farm to Table event and the Indian Lake Elementary PTO brings Julie much joy. Julie can also be found cheering her daughter on at swim meets and spending time with her family.


Chris Egan: General Manager

Chris Egan: General Manager

As a long time employee of the Liberty Party Rental, Chris has known the ins and outs of the rental business since 1996. That’s over 20 years of event rental experience! Chris is our seasoned veteran in all things pertaining to logistics, tent installations, flooring/staging and large-scale events. Starting out as a delivery driver, Chris’ passion for the industry became evident in his role as Director of Operations and he was later promoted to General Manager in 2015. Graduating with a B.A. in Economics from the University of Tennessee, Chris is now settled in Hendersonville with his wife and two children.

As an avid outdoorsman, Chris likes to spend time with his family and friends while boating and biking. And during baseball season, you can find him rooting for the New York Yankees.


Christina Daigle: Director of Sales

Christina Daigle: Director of Sales

Stepping up to the plate is a daily occurrence for Christina Daigle. A leader in everything she does, Christina was first exposed to the world of event planning by coordinating numerous political events at Florida International University through her Political Science major. Upon graduation, Christina eagerly followed her event planning passion by joining TBA Global. She was rapidly promoted to the role of Director of Operations due to her extraordinary logistical skills, outstanding organizational abilities and incomparable work ethic. In this role, she ran exemplary programs for a myriad of companies, including SONY, The Standard Insurance, Sprint, Mass Mutual, Ford and IBM. Expounding upon her management skills, Christina went on to be the General Manager and direct the event department of a fine dining restaurant located on Ocean Drive in South Beach, Florida. In 2009, Christina made the move across the country to Nashville to join Liberty Party Rental to satisfy her desire for new challenges.

Christina serves as an active member of the Junior League of Nashville. You may find her spending time with her horses at the barn as she’s an avid equestrian. During the weekend, she’s taking on home DIY projects and also spending time with her husband Jay and three dogs.


Terri Tenut: Senior Account Executive - Northern Market

Terri Tenut: Senior Account Executive - Northern Market

What’s the true definition of a go-getter? It’s Terri Tenut! Terri is our resident veteran on sales and hospitality in the Nashville rental industry. As a lifelong Hendersonvillian, Terri has seen the Nashville area change and grow! With 30 years of experience in accounting and customer service, Terri has a grassroots approach to serving planners, brides and clients here at Liberty. Her outgoing personality and exceptional communication skills have proven to be an immense asset to the team.

Exercise is one of Terri’s hobbies and not only does she enjoy yoga, she’s run 4 half marathons, all benefitting cancer treatment. When she’s not working, Terri likes to explore the outdoors and go camping with her family and grandchildren. Solidifying her hometown appeal, Terri is a proud member of the Hendersonville Chamber.


Rachel Risen: Senior Account Manager

Rachel Risen: Senior Account Manager

Local culture and cuisine are Rachel Risen’s specialty! And with that comes a passion and a true understanding of all things the Nashville hospitality industry has to offer. Born and raised in Smyrna, TN, Rachel Risen brought her Nashville area roots to Liberty Party Rental in 2014. Rachel graduated with a degree in Marketing from The University of Tennessee and quickly started her work in the event industry. With her background already in linen rentals at White Table, Rachel was the perfect piece to fit into the Liberty puzzle. Rachel also spent time as a Conference Coordinator at Gaylord Opryland managing conferences from start to finish. Her latest work as the Catering and Events Manager at Hillwood Country Club is where she planned menus, setups and timelines for events ranging from small, intimate dinners to large corporate events and weddings. She is also an active member of Meeting Planners International (MPI) and the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corporation.

You may find Rachel and her husband noshing on local cuisine at one of Nashville’s many new restaurants. Take a look at Rachel’s calendar and you’ll see weekend trips with her dog Nacho and travels to college football games. And she’ll also be DVRing her favorite detective shows.


Emily Maksimowicz: Account Manager

Emily Maksimowicz: Account Manager

Emily is a planner by trade and storyteller by heart. She earned a degree in English Writing and a minor in Communications from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Emily melded her passions for giving back along with events while interning at the American Heart Association. Here she helped organize their annual Heart Ball and Go Red for Women Luncheon. After college, Emily continued on her journey in events and worked with a political fundraising company. In addition to her administrative duties, she helped facilitate and oversee various campaign fundraisers. Joining the Liberty team in 2014, Emily tells a story in each and every event she plans. Furthering her passions, Emily also a member of the International Live Events Association (ILEA).

When she’s not planning events, you’ll find her creating beautifully designed calligraphy, blogging, baking and spending time with her family and friends.


Emily Faulk: Account Manager

Emily Faulk: Account Manager

Our very own songster, Emily Faulk was born and raised in Hopkinsville, KY. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a B.S. in Recording Industry Management and a Minor in Marketing. Emily’s passion for event planning blossomed at MTSU while holding various positions in her sorority. Upon graduation, Emily moved to Music City to pursue her dream of working in the music industry. Her hard work granted her a position at Sony/ATV for over 4 years. It was here she acted as the team building liaison, planning various events including the annual CMA Viewing Party and Songwriter Brunch. She also builds upon her event industry cred as an active member of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.

If you frequent the Nashville singer/songwriter hangouts, you may run into Emily as she plays live shows around town. Football is a thing in Emily’s household - she and her boyfriend love rooting for the Kentucky Wildcats and Cincinnati Bengals. You’ll also find her hosting game nights and parties for her friends and spending time with her dogs Who Dey and Noodles.


Hannah Rust: Account Liaison

Hannah Rust: Account Liaison

Only unicorns are born and raised in Nashville, right? If so, then Hannah Rust possesses all the magical unicorn powers. As a native Nashvillian, Hannah Rust brings her knack for design and local culture to Liberty Party Rental. Hannah graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.A. in Psychology and Minor in Art. Hannah fell in love with event planning and design as sorority Vice President. After planning many fundraisers and social functions at University of Tennessee, Hannah began her event planning career at Chef’s Market and Depot Square in 2013 before joining the Liberty team.

With a flair for health and fitness, Hannah is a certified yoga instructor and teaches many fitness classes such as Pure Barre. Painting, traveling, DIY projects and going to concerts and sporting events are also on Hannah’s calendar outside of work.


Lindsay West: Account Coordinator

Moments and memories are what Lindsay West is all about! From wedding showers to parties, Lindsay is in the business of helping brides and clients create memories that will last a lifetime. In 2011, she graduated from MTSU with a BA in Mass Communications and Public Relations. Shortly thereafter, Lindsay began her party planning journey. Growing up in McMinnville, TN, Lindsay’s heart for southern culture is alive and well. 2014 brought about change for Lindsay, making the move to Portland, TN with her husband and daughter. Family is what Lindsay holds to the highest standard - this love spills into her work as she helps families plan weddings and events.

You can catch Lindsay rooting for the Tennessee Titans on Sundays during football season. You might also find her sanding away on the weekends refurbishing furniture and working on her weekly DIY Pinterest project!


Elizabeth Martin: Account Coordinator

Elizabeth Martin: Account Coordinator

Hailing from Chattanooga, Elizabeth joined the Liberty team in 2016. Elizabeth traveled to Knoxville for school at the University of Tennessee and studied Psychology. After making Nashville her home after graduation, she’s had previous experience interning with a prominent Nashville wedding venue and also for an event planner. Elizabeth brought her experience of planning and event management to Liberty and continually uses her knowledge to help customers daily.

When Elizabeth is not at Liberty, you will find her cooking and baking some tasty treats. She also enjoys running and traveling.


Brooke Hall: Marketing & Design Manager

Brooke Hall: Marketing & Design Manager

A firm believer in our motto, "It’s all in the details," Brooke Hall is able to focus on the intricate details of any situation while still having an eye for the overall creative picture. Originally from the Chicago area, Brooke always knew she wanted to live in the South. There’s something about sweet tea, college football and southern hospitality that she couldn’t pass up! Brooke graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2008 where she earned her degree in Journalism & Electronic Media after studying photography, videography and writing – skills which later proved to be helpful for a budding career in marketing. After graduating, she moved all over the U.S. before deciding to call Nashville home. Always wanting to work in the event world, Brooke was excited to join the Liberty Party Rental team in 2017 and share her knowledge of the marketing and communications industry.

Brooke is a lover of all things sports! She bleeds orange for her Vols and enjoys rooting for her favorite home town sports teams – the Chicago Bears, Blackhawks and Cubs. When she’s not attending sporting events and concerts with her husband, Lucas, you can find her at the dog park with her Bluetick Coonhound, Knox, and creating sweet treats in the kitchen.


Chris Ferrell: Director of Operations

Chris Ferrell: Director of Operations

Chris has worn all the hats on the logistics side of event rentals! With over 17 years of experience in the Middle Tennessee event rental industry, Chris brought a great wealth of knowledge to Liberty in 2015. Starting as a delivery driver at Crown Tent, Chris’ hard work soon granted him the position of Operations Manager. In 2007, Chris became the Warehouse Manager at Grand Events and most recently the Inventory and Operations Manager at Classic Party Rentals. Hailing from our very own Nashville, TN, Chris is certified in many areas such as forklift, inventory control, lean process and CPR.

When he’s not overseeing Liberty operations, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, fishing and attending antique car shows.


Chris Bugbee: Production Division Manager

Chris Bugbee: Production Division Manager

If you’re in the market to put on a big production, then Chris Bugbee is your guy! Hailing from Raleigh, North Carolina, Chris (or as we like to call him, Bugbee) carries 13 years of experience with him in the event rental industry. Large installations with tents, flooring and staging and even travelling for install jobs were Chris’ specialties as an Event Manager. He later moved into the role of Operations Manager at a national party rental business. Chris brought a fresh look on production installations with him to Liberty Party Rental in 2016 along with his education in business, marketing and entrepreneurship from Mars Hill College in North Carolina.

In his free time, Bugbee likes to play basketball, watch football and host cookouts at his house. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and kids (two daughters and a son).


Cameron Kilmon: Delivery Staff Development Supervisor

Cameron Kilmon: Delivery Staff Development Supervisor

As a Gallatin, TN native, Cameron has the lay of the land down pat – especially in the event rental business. Studying auto mechanics, commercial foods and even greenhouse management, Cameron’s well-rounded background brings a niche expertise to the Liberty team. With 15 years in the event industry, mostly at Liberty Party Rental, Cameron is an immense asset with certification in advanced tenting techniques from Top Tier tenting school. Cameron’s people skills and logistics management experience are top notch and lend a hand to Liberty’s pride in expertise and customer service.

You’ll find Cameron spending time with his wife and two sons in his spare time. He also loves to ride dirt bikes!


Jacob Graham: Dispatch Manager

Jacob Graham: Dispatch Manager

Born and raised in Cross Plains, TN, Jacob Graham is a team player at Liberty Party Rental. He joined the team in 2013 as a tent crew member and quickly worked his way up to lead driver and now holds the role of dispatch manager. Earlier in his career, Jacob attended Miller Motte Technical College and received his welding certification. He also completed his certification as an electronics tech for the U.S. Army.

In his free time, you will find Jacob enjoying outdoor activities – especially anything out in the woods or by the water.


Scott Thornton: Warehouse Manager

Scott Thornton: Warehouse Manager

If knowledge is power, then Scott Thornton is one powerful warehouse manager. He is our guru on all things Liberty’s inventory has to offer. With a B.S. in Family Relations from David Lipscomb University, Scott brings a wealth of knowledge on team dynamics to the Liberty family. And Scott has over 20 years of experience in the rental industry! His foundation in Nashville rentals started as a delivery driver, moving up to a delivery manager and eventually becoming the General Manager of the Premiere Event. Joining the Liberty team in 2011, Scott has become an important team member in overseeing the warehouse and sharing his knowledge of the rental industry with us all.

Coaching his son’s baseball team and cheering his daughter on in volleyball are some of Scott’s greatest joys. Rooting for the Michigan Wolverines, delving into local cuisine and of course, spending time with his wife and family are also some of Scott’s favorite pastimes.


Annie Wortham: Inventory Specialist

Annie Wortham: Inventory Specialist

You say go, and Annie is already strokes ahead of the game! A go-getter at heart and a native Nashvillian, Annie has a great understanding of area culture – especially in the hospitality industry. Before joining the Liberty team in 2015, Annie was the Retail Manager at Cracker Barrel for 5 years where she managed a retail staff and designed merchandise displays. Plus, Annie has extensive restaurant and retail experience – serving over 21 years in the customer service industry. Her eye for detail has immensely benefitted Liberty in the inventory department.

On the weekends, you will find Annie traveling for softball games with her daughter and cheering her son on in football. Gardening, cooking, volunteering for various organizations and spending time with her husband and kids are also some of Annie’s pastimes.
